Content Not Allowed on OpenPost

Fake news, false information, or misleading claims

Hate speech based on religion, caste, gender, region, language, race, or community

Abusive, threatening, harassing, or bullying content

Spam, scams, fraud, phishing, or impersonation

Obscene, sexually explicit, or highly offensive content

Content that promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal activity

Private personal information shared without consent

Copyrighted content copied without permission

Content that may disturb public order or safety

Repeated posting of the same content only to gain views, likes, or traffic

Legal Awareness for Users in India

OpenPost users must use the platform responsibly and follow applicable laws in India. This includes, but is not limited to:

Information Technology Act, 2000: Covers cyber offences, online impersonation, cheating by computer resources, and certain unlawful online content.
IT Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code Rules, 2021: Require online platforms and users to follow due diligence, content rules, and grievance-related processes.
Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023: Protects personal data and encourages responsible handling of user information.
Copyright Law: Do not copy articles, images, videos, or creative work from others without proper permission or rights.
