Effective Date: [07-05-2026]

Welcome to the OpenPost Creator Program. This program is created to encourage genuine local voices, useful updates, public issues, stories, events, jobs, rooms, opinions, and community-based content on OpenPost.in.

By joining or participating in the OpenPost Creator Program, you agree to the following Creator & Rewards Terms.

1. What is the OpenPost Creator Program?

The OpenPost Creator Program allows eligible users to become OpenPost Creators by subscribing to Creator Membership.

Creators may receive:

  1. Creator badge
  2. Creator dashboard
  3. Points tracking
  4. Referral code
  5. Reward review eligibility
  6. Possible payout based on approved points and OpenPost reward pool

Creator Rewards are not salary, employment, investment return, fixed income, or guaranteed earnings.

2. Creator Membership

OpenPost Creator Membership is a paid membership program.

The Creator Membership price is:

₹99 per month

Creators may choose membership duration such as:

  1. 1 Month – ₹99
  2. 2 Months – ₹198
  3. 4 Months – ₹396
  4. 6 Months – ₹594

The subscription gives access to Creator benefits such as Creator badge, dashboard, points tracking, and reward eligibility. Subscription payment does not guarantee payout or income.

3. Creator Activation Process

To become an OpenPost Creator, the user must follow this process:

  1. Visit the Become a Creator page.
  2. Choose a membership duration.
  3. Send activation request to OpenPost.
  4. Complete payment using the official method shared by OpenPost.
  5. Share required details such as username, registered email, payment proof, and referral code if any.
  6. OpenPost verifies the payment and account details.
  7. Creator Membership is manually activated by OpenPost.
  8. Creator badge and Creator dashboard become available after activation.

OpenPost may reject or delay activation if payment, account, or user details are incorrect or suspicious.

4. Required Membership Duration

To protect the platform from spam, fake activity, and misuse, OpenPost requires a minimum active membership period before payout eligibility.

The required period is:

90 active membership days

During the first 90 days:

  1. Creator can post content.
  2. Creator can collect points.
  3. Creator can build profile activity.
  4. Creator can track estimated rewards.
  5. Payout will not be automatically released.

Payout eligibility starts only after completing 90 active membership days, meeting minimum points, passing verification, and subject to reward pool availability.

5. 60-Day Review

OpenPost may start the first Creator review after:

60 active membership days

During this review, OpenPost may check:

  1. Content quality
  2. Originality
  3. Category contribution
  4. Points activity
  5. Spam/fake activity
  6. Copyright issues
  7. Account behavior

The 60-day review is only an early review process. It does not guarantee payout.

6. Minimum Points Requirement

To enter payout review, a Creator must reach at least:

5000 approved Creator Points

Points below 5000 may be carried forward, subject to OpenPost policy.

Example:

  1. 2500 points = Not eligible for payout review
  2. 4999 points = Not eligible for payout review
  3. 5000 points = Eligible for payout review, subject to verification

Reaching 5000 approved points does not mean automatic payout.

7. Priority Review at 10,000 Points

Creators who reach:

10,000 approved Creator Points

may become eligible for priority review.

Priority review means OpenPost may review the creator’s account and content faster.

However, priority review does not guarantee payout. Final payout still depends on:

  1. 90 active membership days
  2. Approved points
  3. Genuine activity
  4. Original content
  5. Anti-spam verification
  6. Monthly reward pool availability
  7. OpenPost final approval

8. Points Are Not Money

Creator Points are not cash, wallet balance, salary, or guaranteed money.

Points are only a performance indicator used for payout review.

OpenPost may show estimated reward values, but estimated values are not final payout promises.

Final payout may be:

  1. Approved
  2. Reduced
  3. Delayed
  4. Carried forward
  5. Held for verification
  6. Cancelled due to policy violation

9. How Points May Be Calculated

OpenPost may calculate points based on:

  1. Approved posts
  2. Category value
  3. Genuine views
  4. Likes
  5. Comments
  6. Shares
  7. Originality
  8. Local relevance
  9. Community usefulness
  10. Bonus points for verified local value

OpenPost may use different points for different categories to encourage balanced content.

Example category points:

  1. News: 5 base points
  2. General / Open Discussions: 10 base points
  3. Education: 10 base points
  4. Government Updates: 10 base points
  5. Sports: 10 base points
  6. Entertainment: 10 base points
  7. Technology: 10 base points
  8. Local Problems: 15 base points
  9. Jobs / Rooms / PG: 15 base points
  10. Events: 15 base points
  11. Original Local Story: 20 base points

Copied news, duplicate posts, spam, fake content, or low-quality posts may receive zero points.

OpenPost may update the points formula at any time to protect quality and fairness.

10. Public Calculation Notice

OpenPost may publish a simple points explanation for transparency.

However, OpenPost is not required to disclose all internal fraud checks, spam detection rules, review methods, or exact internal calculation logic.

This helps protect the platform from manipulation and fake activity.

11. Reward Pool Rule

OpenPost Creator Rewards are paid only from OpenPost’s available monthly reward pool.

OpenPost does not guarantee fixed payout from the owner’s personal funds.

The reward pool may depend on OpenPost revenue from:

  1. Creator memberships
  2. Business promotions
  3. Featured posts
  4. Sponsored posts
  5. Local ads
  6. Business listings
  7. Other platform revenue

During the starting stage, OpenPost may limit the monthly reward pool to a maximum of:

20% of OpenPost monthly net revenue

If OpenPost has low or no revenue in a month, payouts may be reduced, delayed, partially paid, carried forward, or paused.

12. Minimum and Maximum Payout

OpenPost may apply payout limits.

Starting payout limits may be:

  1. Minimum payout release: ₹499
  2. Maximum payout per creator per month: ₹1499

These limits do not guarantee payout.

If a creator’s calculated reward is below ₹499, the amount or points may be carried forward.

If a creator earns very high points, payout may still be limited by the maximum payout limit and monthly reward pool.

13. Payout Calculation

OpenPost may use the following reward pool method:

Creator payout = Monthly Reward Pool × Creator Approved Points ÷ Total Eligible Approved Points

After calculation, OpenPost may apply:

  1. Minimum payout limit
  2. Maximum payout limit
  3. Anti-spam review
  4. Originality check
  5. Reward pool availability
  6. Policy compliance

OpenPost will not pay rewards beyond the available reward pool.

14. Payout Cycle

OpenPost may follow a monthly payout cycle.

Suggested cycle:

  1. 1st to 30th/31st: Points collected
  2. 1st to 10th next month: Verification and review
  3. 10th to 15th: Approved payout release or carry-forward decision

Payout dates may change due to payment issues, review delay, platform revenue, technical issues, bank/payment problems, or policy checks.

15. Payout Method

Payout may be made through UPI, bank transfer, or any other payment method supported by OpenPost.

Creators may be required to provide:

  1. Full name
  2. Registered email
  3. Phone number
  4. UPI ID or bank details
  5. Identity verification if required
  6. Tax-related information if required

OpenPost is not responsible for payment failure caused by incorrect payment details provided by the creator.

16. Referral Program

OpenPost may provide a referral benefit to active creators.

A successful referral may give the referrer:

30 extra membership days

A successful referral means:

  1. The referred user joins using the creator’s referral code or link.
  2. The referred user pays for Creator Membership.
  3. The referred user remains active for at least 30 days.
  4. The referral is not fake, self-created, duplicate, refunded, or suspicious.

Referral benefits are not cash rewards. Referral benefits only extend membership duration.

OpenPost may reject referral benefits if misuse, fake accounts, refund abuse, or suspicious activity is found.

17. Referral Code and Link

Creators may receive a referral code.

Example:

OP-USERNAME

Creators may share their referral code or referral link with others.

Creators must not mislead users, make false earning promises, or create fake referrals.

OpenPost’s decision on successful referrals will be final.

18. Old Points Before Becoming Creator

Normal users may post content on OpenPost before becoming Creator Members.

However, old free-user activity is not automatically converted into Creator Reward Points.

After joining Creator Membership, OpenPost may review recent original posts and approve eligible points manually.

Copied, spam, duplicate, or low-quality old posts will not receive Creator Reward Points.

  1. Copied news articles
  2. Copyrighted images
  3. Copyrighted videos
  4. Private photos without permission
  5. Someone else’s content without permission
  6. Content copied from social media without rights

If copyright complaints are received, OpenPost may remove the content and cancel related points or rewards.

By posting on OpenPost, the creator gives OpenPost permission to display, share, promote, and distribute the content on OpenPost and related promotional channels.

21. Fake Activity and Spam Policy

OpenPost may cancel points or rewards if fake activity is found.

Fake activity includes:

  1. Fake views
  2. Self-likes from multiple accounts
  3. Fake comments
  4. Bot traffic
  5. Repeated spam posts
  6. Buying likes, views, comments, or shares
  7. Creating multiple accounts for rewards
  8. Misusing referral codes
  9. Using groups only to create fake engagement
  10. Any attempt to manipulate points

If suspicious activity is found, OpenPost may:

  1. Hold payout
  2. Reduce points
  3. Cancel rewards
  4. Remove posts
  5. Suspend account
  6. Ban creator reward eligibility

Creator posts may have reward statuses such as:

  1. Pending Review

  5. Wrong category
  6. Fake engagement suspected
  7. Copyright issue
  8. No local value
  9. Policy violation
  10. Reward pool insufficient

OpenPost’s review decision will be final.

24. Points Rollover and Redeem Rule

If a creator does not reach the minimum payout requirement, approved points may be carried forward.

If a creator receives payout, the points used for payout may be marked as redeemed.

Unused approved points may carry forward, subject to OpenPost policy.

OpenPost may expire, freeze, reduce, or cancel points in cases of:

  1. Inactivity
  2. Membership cancellation
  3. Fake activity
  4. Copied content
  5. Policy violation
  6. Reward misuse

25. Membership Cancellation or Expiry

Creator Membership must be active during payout review.

If Creator Membership is cancelled or expired:

  1. Creator badge may be removed.

  3. Payout may be held until membership becomes active again.
  4. Existing points may remain visible but may not be payable.
  5. OpenPost may freeze, expire, reduce, or review old points.

Subscription payment does not guarantee earnings or payout.

26. Refund and Cancellation

Creator Membership fee may be non-refundable once membership benefits such as badge, dashboard, creator status, or points tracking are activated.

If payment is deducted but membership is not activated due to technical error, the user may contact OpenPost for correction or refund review.

Refund approval will depend on OpenPost review and payment status.

27. No Guaranteed Income

OpenPost Creator Rewards is not a job, salary, investment, or guaranteed income scheme.

OpenPost does not promise:

  1. Fixed monthly income
  2. Guaranteed payout
  3. Guaranteed views
  4. Guaranteed reward value
  5. Guaranteed viral reach
  6. Guaranteed return on subscription
  7. Unlimited payout

Rewards depend on genuine contribution, approved points, platform income, reward pool availability, and OpenPost policy.

28. Taxes and Legal Responsibility

Creators are responsible for any tax, bank charge, UPI issue, or legal responsibility related to their earnings.

For larger or regular payouts, OpenPost may ask for additional details such as identity or tax information.

OpenPost may delay or hold payouts if legal, tax, banking, or verification requirements are incomplete.
